How does the transmission purchase process work?

Place your order on our website (don’t worry if you’re unsure about choosing the right transmission—we’ll contact you after the order is placed to help you select the correct transmission based on your VIN). You can also place an order through our manager using the chat or a purchase request. Once payment is complete, we will ship your transmission in a special box with all the necessary installation information. After receiving it, place your old transmission in the box, contact our manager, and we will arrange the core return. Once we receive your core, we will refund the core charge

Can I buy the transmission locally?

Yes, you can purchase the transmission locally. Please contact our manager, and we will prepare your order for pickup. You can bring your core with you to avoid paying the core charge. If that's not possible, we will arrange the core return, and once we receive your core, we will refund the core charge

Why are your prices lower than those of other companies?

We are not just a company that sells transmissions; we are the manufacturers ourselves. You can purchase our products directly from us, without any intermediaries or additional costs. Additionally, we produce many parts in-house, which allows us to keep our prices highly competitive

What is the warranty on your transmissions?

We provide a two-year warranty with no mileage limit on our transmissions.

In the event of a warranty claim, we will replace the transmission with a new one

Does the transmission come with a torque converter?

Yes, the transmission comes with a torque converter. It is fully remanufactured and tested on a dynamometer

What is the core charge?

The core charge is a refundable deposit added to the price of your remanufactured transmission

After you install the new transmission, we will arrange the return of your old one (the "core") for you. Once we receive and inspect the core, we'll refund the core charge to you

I am not satisfied with my order, can it be returned?

We offer a 100% no-risk guarantee if the product is defective or damaged upon arrival. You have 30 days to return it in its original condition for a full refund. Once we receive the product, we will refund the full amount of your original purchase. Please include your name and order number with the returned parcel. Contact us immediately at info@QuantumGear.com if you receive a damaged item.

About transmissions

Do you have transmissions in stock?

Yes, as a manufacturer, we always have transmissions in stock. However, because our transmissions are in high demand, we recommend contacting us to confirm the availability of the specific model you need.

Are the transmissions tested before shipping?

All of our transmissions are rigorously tested on a dynamometer before shipping. We simulate various operating conditions to guarantee maximum reliability and performance, ensuring you receive a high-quality product

What is the process for remanufacturing your transmissions?

Our transmissions are fully remanufactured. The process includes defect detection, with all components restored to required specifications. Worn parts are replaced, including friction components, steel discs, bushings, seals, and gaskets. Some parts are machined using CNC equipment to address factory defects. The torque converter undergoes a complete rebuilding cycle. The valve body and TCM are tested and fully remanufactured or replaced with new ones. The finished transmission then undergoes a dynamometer test and is only made available for sale afterward

What is included with the transmission, and how is it prepared for installation?

We program the transmission to your car’s VIN (only if required). Our transmissions come fully equipped with everything needed for the replacement, including oil, gaskets, and an installation guide (depending on the model). You can install it at an auto repair shop and drive away. There's no need to waste time searching for a reliable transmission at a fixed price or buying from a junkyard

What shipping and pickup options do you offer?

We offer both shipping and local pickup options for your convenience. After placing your order, our managers will calculate the exact shipping cost, including the core return. If you prefer, you can also opt for local pickup and bring your old transmission to avoid paying the core charge.

I have entered an incorrect address. What should I do now?

If you have misspelled or auto-filled an incorrect address, simply reply to your order confirmation email to confirm the correct details. After double-checking the address, kindly notify us at info@QuantumGear.us if it's incorrect. We can update the address within 24 hours, but an extra fee may apply. No refunds will be given after 24 hours of submitting the incorrect address.
